I have practised Yoga for more than 20 years with qualified teachers. I then obtained  the Dru Yoga teacher qualification after following teacher training course with practical yoga teaching experience for 2 years.

I have passed all the assessments of this class including in-depth training on postures, special Dru Yoga sequences, pranayama, mudras, visualisations and meditation, Yoga philosophy and health considerations.

I am now continuing my Yoga studies by following an advanced practitioner training which focuses on Yoga practices and how they affect the different Koshas we have.

What is Dru Yoga?

Dru Yoga has its roots in Hatha yoga and includes classical yoga postures (asanas), pranayama (breath work),  mudras (gestures), positive affirmations, empowering visualisations and powerful, flowing, dynamic Yoga sequences.

If you want to physically strengthen your body and balance your mind and emotions Dru Yoga will give you tools to take into your daily life and help cope with the stresses of modern living.

Whether you are a beginner or have in-depth Yoga experience, you will always profit from this Yoga style, because it emphasizes balancing the several bodies we all have and focuses on the areas which may need aligning at this particular time.

It is tailored to the students attending the classes, it works to balance the chakras, integrates the breath in all movements and works towards finding your  point of stillness.

It also teaches you to listen to your body and manage any weaknesses you may have, and often eases some imbalances which may be caused by disease or if left uncorrected may result in disease.
