EXPERIENCE

Before coming to Findhorn, I worked as a holistic health practitioner from 1990 to 2006, initially offering Therapeutic Masage in Glasgow and later as a Humanistic Counsellor and Craniosacral Practitioner running a private practice in South West Scotland and in Edinburgh.  Having raised my own children, and received much therapeutic help to heal my own infant trauma,  I focussed on the importance of early life and began working with babies, children and families in 1998.

PRACTICE  LOCATIONS:    454 Field of Dreams

I offer home visits for newborn infants and their mothers, and for those who are frail, elderly or of limited mobility.

SPECIFIC  EMPHASIS

My way of working respects the intelligenc of the body-mind.

Craniosacral treatment supports the body’s own power to heal itself. Grounded in knowledge of anatomy, craniosacral therapy works through fluids, membranes, bones and organs as well as with the subtle energies of the body. This gently healing work is effective for a wide range of conditions and is safe for all ages,  newborn babies to the elderly.

 

Energetic Healing can remove energy blocks and rebalance the human energy field, thus supporting the holistic healing of body, mind and emotions.

 

I teach techniques to deepen body awareness, to nurture self confidence and compassion for the conflicting aspects of the self, and to support the healing of trauma.

 

I have a special interest in preventing and healing prenatal, birth and infant trauma. I offer craniosacral treatment, somatic trauma therapy, birth and developmental movement re-patterning, dialoguing and inner child work, birth games and energy work, to support the safe and gentle resolution of early trauma.

I provide holistic healing support for expectant mothers, babies, and small children, new and potential parents, including information supporting the natural processes of fertility, foetal and infant development, birth and bonding.          

By offering babies the support they need to resolve early difficulties, we free them to reach their full potential. By helping babies to heal we can help to heal the world.
