EXPERIENCE

I started training as a homeopath in 1996 and as a complementary health practitioner in 1997. While I was studying, I worked for the leading manufacturing company of homeopathic remedies in Germany. At this time, I participated in, organised and held trainings in homeopathy in the United States, Mexico, India, Spain, and Germany.

 In 2005, I obtained my qualification as complementary health practitioner (Heilpraktiker) from the health authorities in Germany.

 In 2008, I started my training in Psychosynthesis counselling and psychotherapy. In September 2009, I obtained my Graduate Certificate in Psychosynthesis from the University of East London.

 Currently, I am attending a Psychosynthesis Counselling Diploma Course accredited by the University of East London until June of next year.

Since December 2009, I have been authorised by my training supervisor to see clients as a student counsellor. My placements are with Newbold House, Studio 8 in Elgin, a direct access service for those who are affected by their own or another’s substance misuse, and from June 2010 with Cruse Bereavement Counselling Service in Elgin. I get supervision and support from my training supervisor as well as from qualified and competent local supervisors and psychotherapists.

PRACTICE  LOCATIONS:  At home in private practice, 5 min drive from Findhorn /Forres, accessible with public transport.

QUALIFICATIONS / PROFESSIONAL BODY

 2005: Qualification as Complementary Health Practitioner (Heilpraktiker),   German Health Authorities

2009: Graduate Certificate in Psychosynthesis, University of East London

Member of COSCA (Counselling & Psychotherapy in Scotland).

I abide by the COSCA Code of Ethics and Practice and the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I have full professional liability insurance coverage, including my sessions as a student counsellor.

FEES

 Homeopathy:   £30 per hour (concessions for FF staff)

Usually 1 hour for an acute case, constitutional treatment up to 2-3 hours.

Counselling:   £15 per hour during my training.

Free substance addiction counselling at Studio 8 in Elgin.

SPECIFIC  EMPHASIS

 Classical Homeopathy: constitutional treatment.

Counselling: substance and non-substance addictions, burnout, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder.
