EXPERIENCE
Over 30 years, including 10 in hospital rehabilitation programs for chemically dependent patients and their families, and one year as addictions counsellor in a marriage and family therapy agency.

- Addictions Counselling

- Two introductory workshops on the Enneagram at Kinharvie near Dumfries, 1992 and 1993.
- Advanced Enneagram Training for professional psychotherapists with Helen Palmer, in London ( 1998 ) , and Bristol (1993, 2001, and 2005 ).
- Enneagram Professional Teacher training with Helen Palmer part 1 in 2002, part 2 in 2005.
QUALIFICATIONS / PROFESSIONAL BODY
- MA in Counselling Psychology
- Illinois State certification - Senior Addictions Counsellor
- Member of The Counselling Forum, Aberdeen
FEES Sliding scale, negotiable
SPECIFIC EMPHASIS
Relationship problems, co-dependency, women's issues, depression, mid-life crisis, bereavement.
Chemical dependency, sex and love addiction, etc. in client or loved one - including having been raised by an addicted parent.
Psychological and spiritual growth using the Enneagram, an ancient personality typology, as a model.
I also offer professional supervision for other practitioners.
