EXPERIENCE
I began studying Homeopathy after moving to the Forres area in 1989, completing my Diploma School of Homeopathy (DSH) in 1994. In 1995 I became Registered with the Society of Homeopaths (RSHom) which continued until I took a voluntary break from practice in 2005. In 2000 I completed a further two years diploma course with the Dynamis School for Advanced Homeopathy (PCH). Between 1999 and 2005 I worked as one of the two NHS Homeopathic Outpatient Providers subcontracted by. Highland NHS, voluntarily resigning to take a well earned and complete break from homeopathy.
During this eighteen months I followed my interest in acting and writing, which included a one woman show of my own work called “Talking Inside Out” in 2007, as part of the Highland Festival Fringe. This period of personal training and creative work has strongly influenced the way I perceive the healing journey, and has deepened my work as a therapist significantly. I intend to continue this parallel journey alongside my Homeotherapeutic practice.

TRAINING
4yr training in Classical Homeopathy + 2 years more in Advanced Homeopathy. In addition, numerous courses in specified aspects of homeopathy.
Previously, completed ITEC training in therapeutic massage. Two courses on anatomy and physiology.
QUALIFICATIONS/PROFESSIONAL BODY

Review consult. 45-60 mins £50
NB. The best treatment for children is made bearing in mind the influence of either or both parents during pregnancy, so consultation with the child as well as an in depth consultation with parent (usually mother) is required.
Concessions are made for REVIEW consultations for children.
SPECIFIC EMPHASIS: Homeopathy is relevant for any condition, physical, emotional or mental and for all ages, pregnancy and birth. HomeoTherapy incorporates the belief that we cannot change ‘who we are’, but we can change our resistance to being ‘who we are’ and how we express ourselves in the world. Symptoms, physical, emotional or mental, are there to let us know that we are out of balance, that there is friction between our energy field and that of the world and our fellow players, and to remind us that we have a choice. ‘Dis-ease’ can be seen as a helpful guide (if sometimes unwelcome) nudging us towards becoming what we are meant to be and express. Some would call this the soul journey. We know when we are ‘in balance’ because we generally feel ‘at ease’. In the consultation the HomeoTherapist acts as a mirror, gradually revealing yourself to yourself, through skilled questioning. Homeopathic remedies, prescribed according to classical homeopathic principles are used to assist this process.
