All my life I have been fascinated by the miracle of healing. Through 40 years of experience, I pursued this passion as a nurse in a variety of medical settings, Psychotherapist, Healer, and teacher of adult education courses.
The Mindfulness approach runs like a current through each area of my work, and I regularly offer Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programmes in the local area.

After practising as a Registered Nurse in the USA, I moved to the Findhorn Community in 1983. Following a delightful period of raising my family, I requalified as a psychotherapist, teacher, and subtle energy healer.
Guided by a commitment to offer a holistic therapeutic approach, I trained in a number of modalities. With person-centred and psychodynamic foundations underpinning my psychotherapeutic work, I interweave transpersonal skills from Process Work, somatic mindfulness, and techniques for working with trauma and stress reduction to support clients restore their inherent sense of balance, resilience and resourcefulness.
I qualified to teach MBSR at Bangor University, and Further Education courses at the University of Dundee.

£45-£55 sliding scale for a 1hr session of talking therapy/ £75 for 90 minutes of combined talking and healing which supports grounding new pathways of change in your energy system. ( free half hour Introductory Session ) ( NFA 10% discount)

Therefore, in a typical session, we bring mindful awareness to the thoughts, emotions and body sensations you experience in the here and now to reveal your strength and resilience. From this position of support, we explore what gets in the way of your capacity to access a free flowing connection with yourself, others and the resources you need to move forward.
I work with a range of counselling and health issues, including the impact that stress, loss and developmental trauma may have on you and your relationships.
